A special, unique wine made from Tocai Friulano. Dark yellow, nearly 'orange' due to skin contact. Aromatically, it is something like poached pears drizzled in honey. However, the palate turns the expectation on its head. While nearly full bodied, this is a fresh, dry wine. The minerality and pithy bitterness are front and center. And the finish reprises a bit of the sweet aromatics to complement the phenolic bite the skin contact provides. Best at room temperature after decanting an hour.
