Had again (3rd night) similar notes. Seems to have tremendous aging potential. Much more mellow than night before. This can withstand quite a bit of time open. It seems to improve.

Just re-tried an open bottle from a few nights ago. The wine has been opened for 2 days (refrigerated) and like before I can notice the improvement. Quite a bit of vanilla & oak at start but I sense the honey & molasses at the mid palette which led to a short (15 seconds) finish of oak, vanilla and an apricot taste. Incredibly smooth and creamy texture.

Opened another and must say that I like these more as the time is passing. More candy like than previous notes. Vanilla and lemon on the palette with a lingering (20 seconds) of oak and vanilla bean. I think these are a little past their peek as you could sense the musky aftertaste but the flavors are still there. drink now

Just re-tried yesterday's open bottle. The wine was let to breath now 24 hours and it definitely improved. Much more flavor than the initial reaction. The smooth and creamy texture was not as backward and had a long lingering flavor

Large oak-like mouth-feel, lemon zest, with lingering citrus aftertaste palette which went on for 20 seconds. While I like a a vanilla, butter and oak chardonnay this was beyond good tasting and at 6 years it appears past its peak.
