Nose of red apple, pear, lemon and butterscotch. Apple, fig pear, lemon peel and mineral on the palate. Long, soft dry finish. Well balanced. Served with pasta and mushrooms.

Nose of honeysuckle and fresh hay. Honey, slight pecan-peach notes with a fleetingly subtle eucalyptus. Satin mouth feel that spreads like liquid gold. A bit heavier on the pallet than my preference but no less a gorgeous wine. Drink now it’s drinking lovely.

Same as last year. 91-92? points. Decent flavors with added depth, but still just middle of the road in terms of complexity. Cork back in the bottle and awaiting results 24 hours later.
DAY 2: Same as Day 1. Had some decent mid-palate, with a mouthfeel that was pleasurable overall. Again, not super complex, but an ok Chardonnay overall. 90-91 points on the second day. Drink now and over the next couple of years.

Good bottle, but not noteworthy. Medium body and good mouthfeel. May improve further in another year or so.

starting to fade
however the bright tartness has been replaced by more subtle integrated flavor profile
