This was the 2nd wine I've tried recently from the Cotes de Gascogne. Slightly less crisp than I was expecting but I still note primarily mineral flavors, though the texture of this wine is slightly richer than I expected. Slightly out of balance but still quite pleasant as a starter.

This blend of Colombard with Ugni Blanc offers notes of orange peel, petrol and honeysuckle. The wine is medium bodied and ends with an orange aid finish that is slightly cloying and simple.
