Very interesting, unusual wine. Decanted thru an aerator and screen and drank throughout the evening after a 10-minute wait. Dark ruby, with brown tinge. Medium to light body for a Zin. Front was a tart/sweet mix, with the tart fading sooner. Long finish. Mostly dark fruit, but a cherry or raspberry component. Moderate, unidentified spiciness. Different, but very nice.

Aromas of red flowers, red raspberry, and dark plum. Full body with more dark fruit and subtle vanilla. Softening at this stage and would recommend drinking now. Slightly medicinal finish.

Full, lush and slightly one-dimensional. Massive fruit or a litteral fruit attack which you certainly expect from a "younger" Zinfandel. A very nice wine for sure - for those who enjoy this type of fruit bomb or "jar of jam"...

A Bunch of Zins ($20 to $40): Ruby/purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, clay, cranberries and spaice. There is a lot of heat here (15.5%) but I think serving it chilled might be an option. Good fruit - mostly black cherries. Solid wine.

PnP. No detailed notes. Nice flavor at the beginning, but I too found an unpleasant “medicinal finish.”
