  • Perfect drinking window. At peak or slightly past peak. White peach, wet stone, honeysuckle on the nose. Acidity still present, taste is round and full. White peach, mineral, citrus, honeysuckle on the palate. Drink now.

  • Second bottle of this.
Full, harmonius and very elegant nose. Gently oaky with a minerally edge. But above all - generous fruit. A mix of yellow orchard fruit and tropical (melon). Good citrus backbone.
Medium-fullish, harmonius and very balanced palate with good grip. Wonderful fruit generosity - apricots, honey and orchard fruit. Integrated oak. Minerally finish. Nice intensity. More developed than a year ago. Just lacking a tiny bit of length and mineral. 2008 acidity provides backbone.

  • Delicate, pure, minerally, gently oaky nose. Yellow apple, some gunsmoke. Still young impression. Not very deep, but nice and elegant. Can take on more complexity with cellaring.
Very balanced palate. There's a nice balance between delicate, lightly toasty oak, mineral, smoke and yellow fruit. Quite fullish. Pure, elegant, can develop more. The freshness of 2008 shines through.
This was more elegant than what one would expect from the cru, situated on the rather flat land of Chassagne.
