I confess that this wine has been lurking in my cellar for the best part of a decade, overlooked, considered past it and consequently never opened. I pulled the cork more with the expectation of using it to cook with than anything else. However, it was very much still alive. A lemon / pale straw colour with a little lemon fruit on the nose. In the mouth the overriding impression is of lemon and stone - lots of stone with perhaps a little white pepper and grapefruit. It was a nice accompaniment to Peruvian arroz con mariscos. I would advise drinking now though - I may just have got lucky with this one.
