OK. This one surprised me, as other bottles I had tried like other reviewers had some brett. This was brilliant. Big CdP nose of garrique, bing cherry red color, nice mouth watering acidity. Finishes with gripping tannins. Very much liked and wish had more similar to this as it would easily last 2-3 years longer.

Similar to other notes that I have seen, this bottle was just off. Decanted for an hour, poured two glasses, tasted, and was greeted with sharp sour notes and slight effervescence. Poured it all back in the bottle to save as a cooking wine, and when I applied the vacu-vin the contents of the bottle started bubbling like crazy.

(Kirkland Signature Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée de Nalys) Medium dark ruby color; tart black cherry, oak spice, black raspberry, smoke, berry nose; tart berry, black cherry, licorice, light pepper, baked berry, tart black fruit, graphite palate; medium-plus finish (59% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 4% Vaccarese, 4% Counoise, 3% Mourvedre, 3% Muscardin, 2% Cinsault; an ok value at about $20, and fairly complex, but fruitier and less focused than your average CdP)

No rating as something seemed not quite right with the wine. Not bad, but not good either
