My new definition of opulence. The 2009 Reserve is a viscous teeth staining mix of red fruit, cloves, creamy blackberry, red licorice, and prune. Decant half a day for full decadence.

Discreet truffle, plum, spice and a boat load of sweet kirsch get this going. The wine is about the pure silky red fruits on the palate. Even though the wine is 16% alcohol, there is no sensation of heat in the experience. This could get even better with a few more years in the bottle.

great aroma of a rich, black-fruits wine; full-bodied, dense, complex, quite balanced, €150
