Lovely nose. Purple fruit, with a dark spicy and earthy component. Still fruit forward on the palate with cherry, raspberry and a hint of white pepper. Fine tannins and great acidity to finish.

I wanted to look in on this wine to see how it is coming along, I think it is drinking near it's peak right now, it will probably have a few years of slow decline, but it not going to get much better

Nose has lots of red fruit, particularly raspberry, classic grenache characteristics. Palate followed the nose. Fairly simple, nice tingle at the end, good acidity, soft tannins. Decent enough, nothing special. Well made (hence the score), but not my cup of tea, or a good QPR.

Smells like Brandy. Extremely ripe and sweet tasting for Grenache, without the tannic structure, precision or balance you see in southern France. Were the sugars far ahead of actual grape ripeness? I think so. A nice basic red, but lacking any complexity.

(Maison Bleue Le Midi Grenache Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley) Compellingly fresh, perfumed aromas of raspberry, milk chocolate, spice, mineral, and wild blueberries on an aromatically complex wine. Tart and textured with great depth and body, game notes, and fine grained tannins. The flavors are incredibly pure with the oak far, far in the background. This wine will only improve with some additional bottle age and promises to have an extremely long life in front of it. As with the La Montagnette, among a small handful of the state’s best Grenache. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. Aged in 3 to 4 year old French oak for 10 months. 14.5% alcohol. 126 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.

I think Fingers has it pretty well pegged overall.
C thought this was delicious but I thought was just a bit hot and heavy w/ alcohol.
