Nose and palate are moderately dominated by a combination of slightly earthy but mouldy characters, with undertones of sulphur, and a sweet and sour texture that is unusual and not particularly pleasant. While the red berry fruit character will continue to evolve, and the moderate tannins soften, it will not improve.

Beautifully balanced Burgundy, perfect ripeness without any heaviness. Clean, modern but in a good sense. Still young, noticeable tannin.
Perhaps a little too sophisticated? Lacks an x-factor. We'll see how it develops character with time.
13.5% ABV, sealed with cork.

Ripe dark fruit on the nose, less fresh and inviting than the Caillerets.
Clean, flavourful, somewhat disjointed but potentially impressive.
