Pale golden in color with an opulent, oily texture. Beautiful bouquet of almond/hazelnut and pineapple with secondary notes of honey and a faint lemon. Super expressive on the palate with great acid on the rear allowing the finish to vividly linger. Medium full body with lemon zest and pineapple carrying the front and hints of honey, and a slightly-prickly hazelnut on the rear.
There is a very interesting dichotomy of texture here as the wine itself is oily and velvety-soft, yet the finish is raw; almost as if it was a tannic red wine. It is somewhat akin to what I've seen "Les Charmes" Meursault or a few Chablis' do, yet not as focused and more opulence in the texture of the wine itself. Very interesting and very tasty.
It will be interesting to see how this drinks over the next few years.

Pale hue, almost looking like water. A pure style, non oaked. with honey citrus and a pineaple finish. Simple made, simple expression. More acidic than mineral. Very interesting to drink this (supposed) californian chardonnay, for a frenchman that I'am. PS : corky smell and taste a the beginning which as disappear after one hour, so decanter it.

This is just too good for the price point. Racy, expressive and delicious. Not what you expect from mid-priced Cali chardonnay
