Aromas of pear, mango, flint and apple. Flavors of apple, lemon oil, mineral and a hint of tropical fruit. Ends with an nice finish of 20-25 seconds with apple and tropical fruit notes. Some nice stuffing on this but more on the restrained side for California.

Very good on the first night. It is a dryish Chardonnay. Notes of citrus and apple. Unfortunately, it was not nearly so good on the second night. I did not evacuate the air after the first night. In the future, I will do that or try to use it for occasions when the whole bottle will be consumed on the first night.

Brought home a few bottles from winery visit last summer This is a coravin’d bottle from more than 6 months ago consumed slowly/forgotten in fridge lol
Light lemon color with a touch of green On the nose, vanilla, apple, pear and very tiny hint of pineapple Matches palate, the fruit still comes thru as much more prominent than minerality but not forward, bitter finish Med body Med a city Med+ length

Hanzell's Sebella Chardonnay is sourced from the younger estate vines along with fruit from select growers in the cooler regions of Sonoma County. The 2020 iteration is limpid and light golden in color, flaunting aromatic notes of Braeburn apples, pit fruits, honey and vanilla. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 13.8%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose. The energy of the wine reflects the fact that it only undergoes partial malolactic conversion, but somehow the wine's six months in neutral oak pushes the envelope in the wood department. Solid in the middle and medium in length on the back end, this is an enjoyable New World Chardonnay that can be popped and poured any time over the next five years. Drink now-2027.
