Don't think Bordeaux is my cup of tea however we did enjoy this bottle: plum and leather, old world and perfect with the roast pork. Definitely a food wine, as most old world wines are. I think it is mature but able to hold for a few more years.

I opened this bottle about four hours before dinner. Initially it was tight so I decanted. Four hours latter the wine is showing well. The color is a bright inky garnet. The nose is fruity with wild cherry and spice notes. The flavors are balanced but the wine still has a lot of tannin. Flavors of tart fruit with spice, tar, graphite and some acidity. This is by far the best bottle of this to date and my last bottle as well. I believe that this will will last at least another 5 years, maybe more.

Definitely fully mature but still showing some fresh plum, cherry and rasberry fruit. It now has a nice soft and ideal mouthfeel, and some secondary savory notes.

Still decent in 2017. Residual tannins, a bit of black cherry. Very enjoyable.
