A drinking friendly pinot with signs of age, both visible and in the taste (only 3 years, though). Vanilla and cherries dominate the nose. In the mouth sweet cherries with a touch of acid and very soft tannins. The sweetness tends to turn the wine a bit jammy. Definitely not a big wine but pleasant to drink to an informal dinner. I find the Pinot Noir better than the other Les Jamelles wines.

When just opened I could only think of cardboardbox and the danish christmas brew "gløgg". The alcohol seems for once to be very present, and a intense aroma of marzipan gave the wine a sweetish expression. The palate is better, but weak. The flavours are more pleasant, but lacking severly in concentration. Still there are flavours that are just not good. The finish is short. I've had better Vin De Pays from the Oc.
