Earth and cherry on the nose, I agree with the other tasting note that it is a bit (cough) syrupy on the finish. Decent. Better ones at this price point.

Nice aroma with fruit and spice. The flavor was fruit based but had a lot of other elements to complicate things. There was a nicely integrated spiciness, but other less complimentary flavors included green tree bark, chocolate and burnt vanilla. There were a moderate amount of tannins and an acceptable mineral structure to the finish. Maybe, it's a pinot noir for merlot lovers? I have another bottle, which I plan to age - if the fruit disappears, it will be atrocious; if the other flavors mellow, it will be clever.

Still lots of fruit flavor, so if you want to keep it longer, you can. I still think the flavor profile is a bit too complicated.

Very nice bottle. Earth and ripe plum on the nose. Leather, cherries and plum, and a touch of white pepper.
