A bit too sweet for me and a bit out of balance as the acidity seems to have worn away over the years, although these deficiencies leveled out over time. Ripe blueberry and Asian spice notes predominate; would've like to have seen some Zin bramble and pepper.

Popped and poured - consumed over 3 nights. Pours a deep purple, with strong aromas of dark berries on a warm summer's day. Still quite fruit forward on the palate, tart blueberries and black berries with some spice on the finish. My palate has moved away from california zinfandels - so the charms of this wine were lost on me. My guess based on the prior notes is that it is an enjoyable and well made wine if you like the varietal and style.

Wow, fruit bomb to the fullest, mellowed back end, raisin, raspberry finish, thick and viscous still.
