Light yellow. Reticent nose. Stony minerality, white peach fruit. Dry, very light bodied. This matched nicely with fresh raw oysters from Duxbury Mass.

Not quite up to snuff compared to the first three bottles. A bit richer and rounder, and lacking some of the previous zip and the bracing quality that I look for in Muscadet. Rather straightforward, though still a nice enough wine.

Lovely bottle, with Hog Island oysters on the half shell fresh from Marshall. Ocean, minerals, and a bit of creamy depth to accompany the fresh citrus.

Lemon-lime nose, against a creamy background. Palate also shows citrus, with some oyster shell, lovely structure and a long finish. This is very lively, long and focused, and utterly delicious. A stellar Muscadet.

Chalky and mineral nose with lemon notes. On the richer side for Muscader but decent acidity to support it (although it seems low for '08). Overall, this is enjoyable but a little too forward and not really exciting.
