  • Fresh aromas of Gala apple, Forelle pear, washed stones, and mineral salt (smells like Epsom salts)., A crisp, clean entry filled with many fleshy apple and cut pears, a hint of spice and creme fraiche. The acid builds and becomes firm and steely but always has enough flesh to counter. It works nicely; this is a very good example that is approachable right now and went a treat with some smoked salmon and capers.

  • I like this, but I prefer the "Allees" bottling I had yesterday. This has the fine bead of acidity that I liked in the Allees, but is a tad leaner and tighter. Still, it is way better than the vast majority of muscadets in the marketplace. Light gold color. 4-11-16-8: 89/100.
