Eric & Annette's Bordeaux Blanc Blowout! (Eric's Place): A: Medium gold N: Pronounced. SMOKE, bacon fat, JASMINE, TOAST, dried orange peel, KEROSENE, nutmeg, CARDAMOM , CLOVE, almond, BURNT SUGAR (creme brûlée here). Fully developed. P: Dry, high acid, full body but lighter than the L'Esprit de Chevalier, 13.5% abv. pronounced intensity and long finish. C: Outstanding quality. Just mind bogglingly lush and lovely. I would think that this tastes like a wine priced at $100+ but its only $31. Great QPR. I would drink in the next 2 years but it is perfect right now. Guaiacol aroma from ageing the semillon grape and the toasting of the oak

toasty nose, limes, some vanilla zingy, fresh, some green peppers, not that oaky initially, lots of grassiness and then quite a lot of toast on the finish I'm normally a Rahoul fan but this is a bit dull at the moment.

This is really good. Only a slight yellow, clean looking wine with excellent lemon and petrol aromas. Smooth, dry and bitter finish of grapefruit, lemon and slightly creamy finish. Really enjoyable.
