  still showing well even with Best Enjoyed 8 to 10 years ago. Christian made a REAL winner with this Zin. Down to my last 2 bottles from the 2.5 case I bought. Wish I would have gotten more.

  This wine is holding up very well. Good balance of residual fruit and tannins. Distinctly Zin with pleasant mid to back palate spiciness.

  Another bottle of Christian's last production of OVC. Good balance with hints of dark fruit. Just a hint of remaining tannins offset by the front end fruit. Classic Zin spiciness. Went well with the paella and other Hispanic foods at this potluck

  Color: tinge of brown halo around dark garnet
  Nose: candied cherry
  Flavor: candied fruit & raisin first sip, then lots cedar, cigar box
  Mouthfeel:thin for a zin with a short finish
  
  This wine is just past its peek but I certainly enjoyed it.
