  • Bright ruby color. Nose does not reveal much. Palate has some barely ripe fruit like pommegranate and cherry and is more about texture than flavor or aromas. Tannins are slightly grippy and medium + acidity is balanced well by a medium + body for a Burgundy. Overall rather lean and on the unripe side and unyielding rather than friendly. The wine seems still quite young and at this phase it is only its fine texture that saves it, not even typical aromas of the variety are present. A slight disapointment given my expectations.
