Inky purple color. Aromas of leather, cedar, black cherry, plum. Flavors of sweet cedar, spices (cinnamon), vanilla, and a touch of menthol. Took a couple of hours to open up and shed some of its tannins. We'll wait 3-5 years before trying our last bottle. Delicious wine.
