Color: Pale yellow/gold. Nose: Pretty citrus and floral notes. Some coconut and petrol in the background. Palate: Lively and zesty on the palate at first but falls off a bit on the finish. Lime candy flavors are less complex than the nose would suggest. Moderately sweet. Overall: A very enjoyable and quaff-able wine that would go well with spicy food.

Shouldn’t have opened this after the 2009 Haart Wintricher Ohligsberg. Oh well, still a nice wine but no competition whatsoever. Coconut dominant on the nose which feels a bit heavy handed. Lime dominates the palate w/ orange peel and watermelon. Good acidity. This should develop nicely over the next 5 years although vintage wise I preferred the 2007 which recently was also priced much lower. Perhaps this will develop as well as the 2007.

Similar to our note 3+ years ago. Highly enjoyable — especially with salty blue cheese — over four nights.

Bright golden. Viscous. Nose showing some stone fruit pits. Beautifully rich but not cloying sweetness, decent acidity, pretty well balanced.

Sulphur, slate, wet stone and citrus notes. Lovely fruit, with good weight and acidity.
