Still a youthful bottle that easily could have gone another decade.
Very aromatic, saddle leather, dried garden herbs, Tuscan earth, light spice, very faint red fruit.
Palate was full of red and sour cherry fruit, sandalwood, earth, spice, and minerals perfectly balanced by refreshing acidity. Medium long finish that got better with air/time. Last sip was the best. Drink now with a long decant, or hold through 2030

Been 4.5 years since my last bottle and it has evolved beautifully. Decanted for 1 hour, which it needed to open up. Medium bodied with rounded tannins. Notes of dark cherry, earth, ceder, and baking spices. Finishes long and earthy. Drinking great now and will improve over the next couple years (93-94).
