  • This is a difficult wine when tasted blindly.
At first opening, we were thinking of a puligny or chassagne. Premier cru. No way this was Chablis in our perception.
The second half of the bottle was decanted and stood aside for a couple of hours.
The aroma still made me think of Meursault. Very nice. However, the flavours were much more Chablis. Salt, acidity, fresh, green; excellent. Looooong aftertaste. I like this wine now but i will ensure to keep at least two bottles to drink in 2020 or after.

  • Pretty closed during the first three hours, but the last glass showed a lot of promise. Quite a powerful chablis with lemons, vegetable oil and stones. Should improve with a couple more years of age.
