Blackberry is dominant throughout. There is a bit of spice on the palate as well, and the finish is a tad oaky. Great BBQ and grilled beef wine, but a bit one dimensional.

The nose is full of blackberries. The palate is also blackberries on the attack, with a layer of cream that lasts to the finish. The tannins are very fine with enough acidity to balance everything, mostly hiding the 14.5% alcohol. Surprisingly, there is no jam in this Australian beauty.

Medium bodied. Has typical Barossa spice but overall a bit light and sweet, has notes of cassis and cherry with a hint of oak. Dusty tannins. Lacks depth.
