A “pleasant” wine; a “correct” wine; a “nice” wine, but that’s about all that can be said here. Nothing - at least not yet - to entertain the senses, much less wow the senses. Some honeysuckle and orange blossom and too much oak (but not 2x4 level at all, but still “too” much) that comes through in a heavy vanilla sense. Perhaps with some more time, something will break out and develop. 13.5% alc. With “barbequed”spiced steamed shrimp over tomato salad. The dish is much better than the wine. Recommended with reservations.
