At Jay's. This hasn't changed much since release - it's not as tightly wound as I remember, but the flavours are still very primary, with lots of bright red fruit and black olives tinged with some savoury earthiness and pepper. This opens out aromatically with some air, but it still gives the impression it needs a lot more time.

A few years in the cellar have been beneficial for this wine. The fruit has rounded out, the acidity has integrated, and the whole package has become very drinkable, though still early in its developmental life. There are a few hints of leather in the background, though it's still mostly fruit driven with moderate tannins. There is plenty of depth to the fruit, so I am happy to have several more bottles resting in the cellar.

Drank over four evenings by accident and on the last evening it was showing it's best. pure northern rhone syrah fruit, smoke and olive on the nose, red raspberry on the palette. I really wish i'd bought much more of this as it is sold out, but the Gonon will have to keep me warm.

Quite reticent and tightly wound initially, but opens with air to reveal pure Syrah fruit tinged with lavender, smoky, meaty and peppery accents. There's a slight tannic bitterness on the back end that eases with time, and the whole is very well balanced with a sense of finesse and elegance to the flavours. Looking forward to seeing how this develops in the cellar.
