Consumed over ~1 hour. Fresh, straw-colored white with pithy lemon/grapefruit character and a background note of something creamy. Nice for sipping, good with food. I should have bought a bunch more when I found this on sale.

Nose is: clean, medium intensity with youthful aromas of tropical fruit: passion fruit, pineapple; stone fruit: apricot, peach. No oak that I can smell here. No secondary either.
Palate: wine is dry with medium acidity, medium - alcohol, medium body and medium flavor intensity. The flavors are less intense than the palate would suggest. The length of the finish is medium.
Overall this is good wine for its balance. However, I don’t seem to find it all that complex or all that intense. I can see much in it that would allow it to age either. It should be drunk now. Another confusing wine from the NZ. I want to call the nose Gewurtz but it isn’t all the pronounced.
Much stronger and livelier as it warms up with a much lengthier finish.

Consistent with 7/29/2012 note and a nice match with fish tacos. If I find more at the same price, I will buy some.

Didn't enjoyed it as much as some other Albarinos that I had. Very light and no structure.
