  • Awesome Meursault - really great balance between the white, citrus fruit and intense minerality here. Very long, vibrant and satisfying- wish I had more.

  • meursault for rockheads! Intense minerality and crunchy acidity dominate here with the citrusy fruit getting pushed to the background. Long and intense. Drinks quite young.

  • opened two bottles of this - one was golden honey color(bottle 1) and the other was the color of light straw or hay(bottle 2).

    Bottle 1
some aromatics, but more focused on minerality instead of fruit. Strong minerality with a long finish, fruit was detectable, but not strong. 88

    Bottle 2
Strong aromatics of fruit with a toasty nose. Fruit filled and slightly sweet (in a fruit sense, not in sugary sense). Long finish with the citrus fruit flavors dominating the finish. outstanding wine 91.

funny thing is the cork in botle two was falling apart and the cork in bottle 1 was pristine. Blind, I would have guessed bottle 2 was a new vintage and bottle 1 was at the end of its drinking window...
