Bought a bottle of the Charmes after liking the 2017 Genevrieres from the same producer but finding it just a touch too sweet. This is not showing this sweetness but its still not really my favourite style of Meursault. The mid-palate is dominated by these notes of candied sour lemon, whereas I like a cleaner and fresher style. Very impressive length though. Still have the Perrieres to try.

not blind Delicious Meursault. Powerful but elegant. Lemon tarte, some roasted nuts, saline, balanced. Cracking acidity. 2017 a preferred vintage for white Burgundy. 94-95

Nicely softened, long smooth middle but finishing with intensity. Doesn't need much longer, great now.
