This red blend literally feels like autumn. Bright and aromatic, full bodied and tightly structured, it flaunts cool tones of red and black fruit, cassis, pencil lead, and cocoa powder atop touches of fallen leaves, sous bois, and bottle age complexity. It’s still evolving and really shined after two hours of air. Has a couple of decades ahead of it.

Hadn't opened one of these in awhile. 2nd bottle from a case. I've been a fan of Oakville East and Eliot Stern's wines from the beginning. This wine was no exception. Lots of blue fruit but not overpowering tannins, ageing well.

Similar experience to Big Cactus' review. Opened 30 minutes prior to drinking and consumed over an hour during dinner.
Good depth and concentration on the fruit, medium finish, acid and tannins are in good balance. This is drinking well now with a brief decant and probably has some years left in it at this level. Also consumed with steak and it was a nice pairing.

A CS, CF and PV blend. PnP, dark ruby red on sight, blue fruit, chocolate and some bell pepper on the nose indicative of the cab franc in the blend. Complex, supple with good fruit and decent (not tremendous) depth on the palate. Medium finish consistent with a Bordeaux type blend. Served with steaks - not over-bearing, a great crowd pleaser. Drinking very well now.
