  • One of the best Chablis I've had in a long time. Light gold color with a hint of green. The nose was quite muted immediately after opening, but it opened up in the glass with vibrant aromas of mineral dust, citrus, and granny smith apples. On the palate, this wine had a lot of complexity: apples, lime, honey, and a little butter, all backed up with tons of minerals and nice acidity. A little wood gave this wine some body - it is much fuller than most Chablis I'm familiar with - not austere at all. Very long finish of 30+ seconds.

  • Pale greenish-gold. Sparkling clarity. Rich aromas of grapefruit, butterscotch, lemons, wet stones, very very complex. On the palate, intense grapefruit, tangerine, very aggressive attack. Mid palate is softer with butterscotch, lime, flint, minerals, great complexity. All backed by zingy acidity that adds length to a persistent limey, mineral finish. Very elegant.
