  • I am trying to reconcile the wine I drank with the other reviews here. I found this pinot to be quite light and acidic. Reminded me more of a simple village Burgundy than a premiere cru or a new world pinot, which tend to be heavy in fruit. Maybe I drank it too soon, but I would not consider this the best of the Okanagan for this variteal. not bad, but not great.

  • Somewhat heavyweight for a Pinot it nevertheless shows the smokey bacon and texture one hopes and expects from a Pinot. Good, lingering finish. Still somewhat primal: will be singing in two years.

  • This was one of the top 2 or 3 pinots of of BC Wines wine group tasting night. A number of folks refused to give up what was left in their glass to move on to the next wine in the tasting! Not a light Pinot by any means, it is dark and dense, but retains that Pinot signature. Great fruit body on entry, with great acids to back it up. No unripe fruit, unlike some of the other wines we tried tonight. Definitely a good job.
