Medium red in colour, good acidity, slight nose of cherry, flavours of smoke, dark fruit, great sweetness, good tannins. Curious if the Summer Okanagan fires is giving the wine it's smokiness or over chard barrels? An enjoyable pinot except for the smoke flavour.

Solid and reliable "old faithful" in my house. Big cherry fruit, nice new world style and structure and medium finish, but without being overly oaked. Everything and more one could want in a "middle of the week" wine.

Full disclosure: I'm NOT a Pinot guy, but I've had some that were fantastic. I don't think my palate is sophisticated enough for the nuances of PN. Last night I opened this and poured some in a glass. Gave it fifteen minutes and barely could detect a nose, not much on the palate and zero finish. It was like water. I nearly dumped it. Tonight, I poured some more and WOW. It's completely different. Great nose of ripe strawberry, salami and damp wood. Muted palate of mulled berries, sour cherry. Great acidity, cuts through my spaghetti like a scalpel. I'm glad I gave this a second chance.

Medium to dk red in colour, good acidity, nose of dark fruits. There is a very pronounced smoked meat with a tart dark cherry aspect to the taste of this wine. There is no other taste the evolves with time. Not much complexity or scope to this wine.

Enjoyed from a 3L.
Cherry, pomegranate, pipe tobacco, forest floor, dried herbs. A staple in the BC Pinot Noir scene.
