Decanted and tasted 30 min later. Lovely cherry aromas accented by herbs, bark and pepper. On the palate, tart cherries, unripe plums, herbs, bark and minerals. Nice depth and concentration. Medium bodied. Tasted half way between gamay and pinot. Love this stage of the evolution of gamay. In a really nice spot.

Medium red color. Aromas of black cherries, sour cherries and underbrush. Ripe, medium-bodied fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length. Nicely balanced and juicy on the palate. Still very youthful.

Funky, funky nose. Great on palate. Not sure it has much left in the tank.

This is why I cellar wine. Very good, early drinking. Soft tannins remain, extra sediment.
