Popped and poured straight from the wine chiller, it was very smooth, with hints of vanilla. Tannins were soft and wine though simple was balanced. As the temperature went up, so did the alcoholic heat and taste of this wine, best served below 26c. Medium-light bodied wine that when well with my pasta of tomato based beef sauce. Great QPR wine.

The nose was very oaky at first but turned to be appealing, perfumed and sweet with some mineral note after an hour or so. Full bodied and sweet on palate with lots of dark fruits and a touch of spicy oak on finish. Initially, tannin was very dry but softened over time. Simple but very good value and should have bought more.

Nose is sweet oak. Loads of dark berries. Wine is dark purple, almost black, full bodied. A nice wine and great buy for the money.
