  • Served with a tasty appetizer of poached pears with chevre on a mixed fruit/nut bread. Really clean crisp and tasty with a little tartness/acidity on the finish. Seems to be in a good phase for drinking--can it improve? I am not sure, but will likely work down the remaining 4 in the next 24 months.

  • I served this with roasted halibut, lemon rice and buttered carrots--a delightful Sunday supper. The wine proved just as tasty with an oily viscosity and a suble butter finish complemented by a twinge of acidity. I really think Tanzer underestimated this wine (85 pts)--while not a blockbuster, it offers terrific drinking with food over the next 4-5 years.
