I had a past vintage of this some years ago and enjoyed it. The 2009 threw off a good deal of oak at the initial pour. Once that blew off, I picked up a great deal of crushed mineral, anise, and some lemon peel on the nose. I really enjoyed the mouthfeel of this Puoilly Fuisse. That oak proved to be well balanced and I was a tad surprised by the acidity which is somewhat racy. I bet this will continue to meld in the bottle given another year or two.
