Agree with review below, finally coming around. 2 hrs decant. Previously tasted 2 and 5 years ago, but now showing the best, delicious. Fresh and young, lots more time.

I have been looking at these with trepidation, because my memory was that these had some hard angles that didn't really get along with many dishes and didn't lend to drinking on their own. So something took a turn. This was exactly what I want from the Cab Franc-heavy blend, esp with that long oak aging. No abrasive oak tannin now, the CF rounded into mellowness while keeping its herby freshness, and just a bit of softening from the merlot, without turning into a Michel Rolland monstrosity. (Sorry, but if his wines are your thing, let's not imbibe together.) Oddly, it went great with Indian food, esp a spicy lamb dish in a red sauce, which I would not have predicted. Maybe it was the okra on the side, which was really great.

IMHO this seems to be going strong and has yet to reach full maturity. Displays excellent balance and complexity (primary, secondary, and tertiary notes in balance) with a mix of smoky, ripe black and red fruits, leafy tobacco, decaying forest floor, unsweetened chocolate, and spicy currant. Lovely finish. Very notable structure which should support another few years of cellaring assuming the fruit does fade.

Slowly getting better, but still tannic. Good news is that the fruit is holding up still, so will wait a couple more years on the last bottle.

Nose is more Right Bank cab franc; palate fruit has faded, rendering heat and acidity more prominent, though tannins have softened; drink up
