From prior notes:"Medium gold/yellow. Nose showing light orchard fruits, mineral and floral notes. Palate shows baked apple, pears, crushed stone and saline notes. Delicate, smooth texture, nice minerality through the mid palate. Medium weight and finish..."
Color here was a bit darker from memory. Slight must (not premox as we feared..) blew off a bit. Nice texture, medium finish.
This was interesting, good not great. Would drink up

Another perfect bottle - I should buy a lottery ticket - no Premox. Very good, creamy and long, bright singing fruits and fine acidity, length and balance. Simply excellent - from a great vintage.

At home w/Valerie, had not checked in on this in a while. Slight chill, PnP, drank over an hour.

My first bottle of this designate from a batch bought about 7 years ago. No real comparison point, I thought this was nice but not likely to improve much (I have been wrong before). Drinking well at this point, still has a good drinking arc ahead of it.

Another excellent bottle of this superb wine. No signs of any premox., but an excellent bottle! Superbly high tuned, clean and fresh nose, with streaks of lemons, pears, stone fruits, white flowers and fine smoky minerals. Palate is outstanding. Ripe pears and stone fruits, sweet, yet with an unbelievable focus and drive. Great minerals on the long finish. Some more development since last time I had a bottle of this, with a touch of butter and more creaminess showing. The crispy acidity and overall balance in this wine is just plain beautiful. Great lovely bottle of Vergers, simply excellent! (93 – 94)

Pop and poured. Slow-oxed in bottle. Drank over 2.5 hours at PP B&B. Definitely benefited from lots of air. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of stony minerality, salinity, citrus lemon. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salinity, wet stone minerality, citrus lemon-lime, ripe peaches, and honey towards the finish. Long finish. Very good quality. Balanced and enjoyable. Good mineral intensity balanced with good fruit. Yummy. This particular bottle is developing well. To be safe, I would say drink it up within the next 3-4 years rather than wait too long on it.
