Syrup, caramel, jammy nose with red and black currants and Provence herbs. Rich, savory mouth feel with licorice and bizarrely, bananas! This is amped up but as with most Costieres de Nimes is just too primal and unrefined for my taste and the 14.5% alcohol is very much in evidence.
