Coravin fun - Random Australians with ring-ins (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. A little stone fruit, fresh herbs, sweet spice bees wax, honey, slightly creamy notes as well as a touch of pear (?) In the mouth it's juicy, fresh, quite tangy, waxy textured, a little honey joins the slightly muted fruit...finally fading for me...drink up

Annual Coravin blitz - day one (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Honey, bees waxy, a little marzipan and almond meal with a smidge of peach. On the palate its softly juicy, structed, broad & waxy textured, a little non intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. Balanced. Nice.

'09 Yeringberg Marsanne/Roussanne-typical Rhine profile. Deepened yellow with some age now, waxy, almond white blossom character. Pretty wine but acid leaving hence drink before 2017.
nectarine and peach, a slight sappy/floral note, touches of spice and waxy textured warmth on the palate. Possibly, for the pedantic, lacking a touch of acidity but very nice none the less.
