Mid gold with a bit of an orange tinge. Attractive nose - still quite bright and fresh with lots of tropical fruit, a touch of honey and the merest hint of petrol. The immediate impression on the attack is that this is very good. There's a touch of maturity, but lots of bright limey fruit, fresh clear honey, a stony minerality and a touch of oiliness. Very long indeed. My last bottle was utterly dreadful, and the one before that was a bit meh. But this bottle is in a very good place indeed.

Mid to dark gold colour, mature, quite rich and evolved but still with enough acidity to balance it out, I agree with the other taster that this is similar to a Cuvée Frederic Emile but is just missing a bit in the middle of the palate and doesn’t have such a long finish, super with aromatic and not too spicy asian style food like vietnamese noodles and steamed fish with ginger and spring onions

01 Alsace and 11 Red Burgundy for work crowd (Home): Slightly fuller and richer than the CFE, but not quite as nuanced or complex through the mid palate. Finishes well with just a hint of RS, though I suspect it’s just richness. ****

Not corked or oxidised, but something wrong here, sadly. Down the sink.

1/2 - cork abt 40% soaked. Pale/medium gold. Developed, exotic nose - ripe apple, orange, honey, some kerosene notes. Medium/full bodied, plump and oily, ripe fruit, creamy edge, attractive vibrant acidity, orangey notes, spice showing on lingering, very good length finish. Excellent, drinking well.
