Nicely balanced Tempranillo (80%) and Garnacha (20%) blend. Medium, ruby red in colour with clear edge. Nose is ripe and elegant with mature blackcurrent elements. Palate - easy drinking with mature red fruit, minimal oak, light tannins and vibrant acidity. Quite a lightweight, well balance wine - but not the quality I'd expect from a Gran Reserva.

Ok. But not as well round as 2003 or 2002. 2002 was excellent. Perhaps the 2004 should stay in the cellar a few more years.
