From a mag. Clear ruby red. A floral nose shows red/purple flowers, dark red berries and sous-bois. Medium bodied palate shows well integrated sweet dark red berries, medium acidity, resolved tannins and a mix of floral and earthy notes on the finish.

Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Esmonin (Overgaauw Wine Estate): (Tasted Blind): A light+ ruby hue with a touch of orange at the edges. An attractive, fragrant nose with spicy oak, parkin, black cherry and black plum. A deep entry with ripe fruit, medium body and a velvety texture, very enticing. A core of juicy raspberry puree fruits coats the palate, although the wine appears a little simple for premier cru. Medium in length, it closes with some sweetness and spice mix on the finish and a touch of alcohol that rises. The tannins are fruit-wrapped and the fruit glistens through the wine.

Very pretty sappy red fruited Gevrey, lovely flavour but could do with more concentration.

Silky. Melange of black and red fruits. A bit of sap. Has poise and balance. Lovely.
