The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like oak, black pepper and bell pepper. It tastes like blackberry, red currant, prune, mineral and black pepper. The body is medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

Clos Jordanne has a few different Pinot Noirs. To my taste this is their best and my favorite Ontario Pinot consistently. A very complex cold weather pinot which went fantastic with the seared tuna and summer vegetables that we enjoyed for dinner. There is a minerality base to this pinot with all these wonderful tastes happening around it such as black cherry, hints of clove, nutmeg and cedar box. Nice long subtle finish.

13.5% - Clear, med to light ruby / clean, med to high intensity - wild raspberry and blackberry, some animal notes, underbrush, kiss of oak / dry, med+ acidity, med round body, med- fine grained tannin, med to high intensity of flavors, very expressive with a nice depth. This one could hold a couple of more years.
