The nose showed crushed raspberry, minerals, and hints of spice. It was fleshy on the palate, and perfectly balanced with ripe cherry, strawberry and sweet herbs. It finished on ripe red fruits and a wave of refreshing acidity, which provided a mouthwatering finale with a hint of fine tannin. This hits well above its price point, and is highly recommended.

Great Morgon. One the vintage is excellent, but I love Chatelard as well. Fleshy fruit, light minerality on the palate, varietal spiciness, seems very well made. Great mouthfeel. Fuller and softer than the Moulin a Vent, but the latter has my affection for it's brightness of minerality. Waiting to try the Fleurie.
