Disappointing for $150 from the winery. Lacks complexity I would expect of a Pinot at this price point. Goodbye forever Evening Land... Unless you get a new winemaker

Pure, distinct fruit. Red berries, strawberries, wild strawberries, a hint of raspberries ... and even some spice-box á la Vosne. Just a lovely nose of young Pinot Noir.
But on the palate the wine performs more like 1:er Cru than Grand Cru. Nice flavours but it lacks a bit backbone and carriage. Quite short finish as well, for being a Grand Cru. Nice tannins and acidity though and there is balance.
My guess was Les Suchots 2010 Lamarche.

A Morning at Evening Land Vineyards Cote d'Or (Meursault): Barrel. Wow, very aromatic red fruit and toffee. Fresh, sappy black cherry flavors with great texture and balance. Suave and accessible for young Clos Vougeot. Probably the best 2010 barrel sample we tried (although the number was small). A real winner that shows the capabilities of this team once they source great grapes or juice. Exciting to taste this. I begged for a bottle to be allocated to me.

Mushroom and Birthday tasting (Helsingør): Seems a bit closed. Fairly intense but lacks some excitement. Short aftertaste.

Perfect bottle, served blind.
Young, pure, ruby. Typically Pinot Noir.
